PAEP (Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership) — Teaching Artist

July 2016 – Current

I am required to make a lesson plan and teach children between ages ten through thirteen about ways they can express themselves through art and creativity. I teach three groups of children a day allowing the kids to work on different concepts and projects during the summer camp schedule. The children are learning about color theory, composition, how to draw from sight, and how to illustrate poetry using representational subject matters.

Pennsylvania State University Abington, PA — Digital Designer/ Social Media Manager (Internship)

January 2015 – December 2015

I created an identity package for ACCESS (Abington Center for Civic Engagement and Social Scholarship). I worked with clients to create their visual marketing campaigns. I designed their logo, website, posters, flyers, and business cards. I also trained clients in using Wordpress so that they could be able to edit content if necessary. In the summer and fall of 2015 I redesigned the Art Program website by developing a new responsive Wordpress theme using custom CSS, HTML, and the Adobe Creative Suite. I also developed the website for the Penn State Abington Art Gallery and managed the Art Department social medias.

The Cheesecake Factory, Willow Grove PA — Baker, Cashier, Curbside, Employee Trainer

November 2011 - October 2014

I was a dessert finisher at The Cheesecake Factory in Willow Grove. My job required me to fulfill dessert orders and maintain a clean working environment. I used my leadership skills to help lead the bakery team in organization and completion of tasks. I was also certified in training new staff members in my occupation. I was a cashier and skilled in using a POS system to place orders, I was required to sustain a drawer/ cash register containing $500+ and completing paperwork of the total monies for each shift. I am proficient in customer service and salesmanship. I also answered phones and help quests to my best ability. I also helped co-workers in need of assistance.
